Specific vocational training in SpainSpecific vocational training is structured into two training levels: intermediate level FP and higher level FP. Its objective is to facilitate integration into working life, to contribute towards continuing training for all citizens and to meet the demands of the productive sector for skills. The modules are grouped as, administration and management, agriculture and stockbreeding, graphic arts, automotion, sales and marketing, construction, electricity and electronics, personal beauty, hotels and tourism, sound and image, wood and furniture, industrial mechanics, chemistry, health, socio cultural services, textiles. Pupil assessment is continuous and in order to complete the training cycle successfully a pupil will need to obtain a positive assessment in each of the modules. Upon successful completion of intermediate FP pupils receive the qualification of Tecnico (technical specialist). Those who obtain this qualification may gain direct access to specific option streams in the Bachillerato. The qualification of senior technical specialists (Tecnico Superior) is obtained upon successful completion of higher FP, this allows direct access to specific university studies related to the particular vocational training course followed.
